PRINT, COPY AND SCAN

  1. The university library is providing Photocopying, Printing, and Scanning services to the university students and staff members. The outsiders can also utilize these services.
  2. A request form for photocopying, printing, and scanning is available in the university library. The members who are in need of the documents to be photocopied/print/scan should fill the request form available at the circulation desk and pay the prescribed amount in cash to the circulation desk in charge.
  3. The approved charges for various services are given below:

  4. Every order and payment will be given with a receipt. The members or outsiders should submit the receipt along with the document to be printed, photocopied and scanned to the reprographic section office assistant cum xerox operator.
  5. Rested documents, such as rare books and manuscripts, would not be reproduced in any manner without consent of the copyright owner.
  6. The payment is received only for providing photocopying/printing/scan service. Hence, the paid amount shall not be refunded.
  7. All copies, including imperfect copies caused by anything other than the mechanical faults, also must be paid.
  8. Photocopying of a maximum of 15 pages in a book or an article from a journal for educational and research purposed is permitted. Copying of whole book or journal issue is a violation of copyright act.
  9. Members or outsiders who are availing of the service are solely responsible for upholding copyright laws and university library is not responsible for any copyright infringement by members or outsiders. If the above mentioned service is not provided due to unavoidable circumstances the reference only documents such as reference books, journals and thesis/dissertation won’t be issued for outside photocopying.
  10. Pen drives/memory cards and CD documents are strictly prohibited for printing. Email attached documents are preferable.
  11. Mutilated books/Journals should not be photocopied.
  12. Print jobs may be submitted from e-Library desktops and from individual laptops inside the Library campus only.
  13. University Library has printing facilities with black & white and double-sided printing capabilities. Documents for copy and ccan jobs should be submitted in person to the library circulation desk.
  14. In case the library circulation desk staff or office assistant cum xerox operator is on leave in such circumstances, the print, copy and scan services won’t be provided; the services will be stopped on those days without any notice.
*A Printing work order will be provided subject to the availability of the library staff.
